Sweet Chaos: Baking, School Runs, and Life at Cookies By Double M

Hey there, cookies lovers! 💜

Wow, what a crazy week it’s been here at Cookies By Double M. For those of you who are new, I run a small home bakery where I whip up everything from cakes to macaroons and more! It’s a busy but rewarding job, and I absolutely love bringing a little sweetness to people’s special moments. But aside from the bakery, I’m also a mom of three, and trust me, things get pretty chaotic around here!

This week, in particular, has been extra hectic because my kids just started back at school. With early mornings, lunch-packing, and last-minute tasks to checks, my days have been packed before I even touch the oven! My little one just started her second year at Twinkle Tots Pre-School, which is such a big milestone for us. And of course, that means I was also juggling preschool drop-offs, and making sure everything was in place for his exciting first week.

To top it all off, as a chair of the committee member, I had a big meeting at Twinkle Tots Pre-School this morning, and let me tell you, my "wow" moment was running that meeting like a pro! It went so smoothly, and it felt amazing to have it all come together after so much planning. It was definitely a proud mama moment for me! A huge thank you to Natalie and Charli for your incredible support! I honestly can’t thank you both enough for all the hard work you’ve put in at Twinkle Tots Pre-School. You two have been amazing in helping accomplish everything that needs to get done, and your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed. I'm so grateful for everything you do to keep things running smoothly! 

On the bakery side of things, it’s been non-stop. Between baking cakes for birthdays, weddings, macaroons for special events, and cookies for all the sweet tooth out there, Cookies By Double M has been in full swing. I’m grateful every single day for the support of my amazing customers—you all keep me going, even during the busiest weeks!

And before I forget—Stacey, thank you for checking in! I couldn’t wait to share that running the Twinkle Tots meeting was my "wow" moment this week. It really made me stop and appreciate how much I can accomplish even in the middle of all this sweet chaos.
